Going off in washington dc I got my chum gum from the corner store next to saint theresa's school in anacostia washington dc. I rember how my mouth started watering for that flavor from the Gods.I bought all they had,never to see or taste it again :.(. I also have looked for Chum gum for years. it was the bubblegum of choice in my neighborhood (the harbor section of conneaut, ohio) in the 60's although i have to confess, i seldom if ever shared the second piece with any of my friends. A friend and I in Silver Spring, MD would take my 25 cents allowance (in 1952) and buy about 50 sticks of Chum-Gum and chew all sticks at once to see who could blow the biggest bubbles. Worst decision to make on candy maker. I found an old wrapper while deep cleaning a while back in my store . The colors were red, orange, yellow, green, and purple.
